Metro Kidz

Sidewalk Sunday School (March through October)

Metro Kidz’ Sidewalk Sunday School is a high-energy evangelistic program designed to bring the gospel to children in Atlanta’s inner-city neighborhoods. Each week, dozens of children ages 3 to 12 participate in games and songs, listen to stories, and win prizes. In addition to having fun, the children hear the message of Jesus and learn healthy life values.

Street Smarts (October through May)

Street Smarts is a tutoring and mentoring program designed to help area youth achieve success inside and outside of the classroom. Youth in 1st to 6th grades who are at a high-risk of educational failure will meet with adult volunteers twice each week to improve their academic skills and learn about healthy live values.

Adopt-a-Kid

Adopt-a-Kid provides children who rarely venture outside of the projects an opportunity to experience people, places, and events they otherwise would not encounter. Activities include including cookouts, professional sports events, musical programs, and summer camps. During each event, children are paired with volunteers who work to ensure their safety and build rapport with the child.
